Ground up frame off restoration completed April 2018. Immaculate car, haven't had time to enjoy, just to many cars and projects. Never driven in the rain, always garage kept.
Original California car restored by a multi NCRS Top Flight/Bloomington Gold winner. I have some original information such as the owners manual and Protect-to-Plate, but no tank sticker.
Matching Number 327/300hp, 4 speed, factory power steering/power brake car. Engine, Trans and Rear end numbers have been verified to be correct. Vehicle was complete stripped of paint, inspected, repaired as needed and repainted with Dupont Base Coat/Clear Coat system in the factory original Lyndell Blue paint. Bonding strips were checked and verified to be in the correct factory location.
Frame and suspension were separated from the body, dismantled, blasted and repainted the way the factory components were painted and reassembled. Defective components on the frame were rebuild or replaced with correct restoration parts.
New Dewitt Radiator, new overflow tank, new Teal Convertible top and Teal upholstery. Clock was change to Quartz clock replacement, Dash was reworked and Speedometer reset to 0 miles, etc. AM/FM radio works great. Bumpers were re-chromed. All lighting both interior and exterior works properly. Tires were upgrade to Radial tire on factory rally wheels. Trim rings were replaced and I do have the original ones.
Engine compartment is impeccable. All RFI factory shielding are in place.
I do have some of the original parts that were removed and replaced from the restoration. They go with the sale.
This vehicle's factory build date was June 23, 1967 vary close to the end of 67 Corvette build year, before changing over to 68 Corvette production. Photos of the restoration will be provided with the sale. Rare color combination one year only.
