1967 FORD MUSTANG SHELBY GT500E ELEANOR RESTOMOD
F/I 5.0L V8, 5SPD TRANS, PWR STEER, CLEAN IN/OUT, RUNS/DRIVES GREAT! NICE CRUISER!
Here's a cool 1967 Ford Mustang convertible with expensive Shelby and Eleanor upgrades, plus a modern fuel-injected V8 under the hood and a five-speed stick. So this is all the best a pony car has ever offered.
The customization of this Mustang is apparent from every angle. It starts up front with the bold billet grille and racing lights. The dual black racing stripes are a complete package, so they do a great job of highlighting the deep chin spoiler and large power hump in the hood. The rear continues the full stripe package that also draws attention to the nicely integrated California Special spoiler. Plus, there's a Shelby snake-bitten gas cap in-between the Shelby-style sequential tail lamps. The sides take advantage of the '67 Mustang's well-creased sheet metal to funnel your attention to the large racing-style rear ducts. Below that is black GT-style striping, a ground effects kit, and a wide side exhaust – so this has a truly speedy profile. And if the iconic knock-off 17-inch Halibrand-style wheels didn't already scream "Hey Eleanor!" then the superb signature Pepper Gray paint certainly will.
If you like the way the crisp black roof coordinates with the exterior black accents, then you'll really love how the black interior continues this visual appeal. It means this Mustang looks terrific with the top up or down. Many investments in the interior with factory-like quality on the seats, door panels, and carpeting. You'll also appreciate comfortable upgrades like the cup holder center console, power top, and retro-sound AM/FM stereo with auxiliary hookup. Of course, what really makes this an irresistible classic are the performance minded pieces. The custom gearstick, wood & chrome sports steering wheel, and Shelby-style roll bar really get your enthusiast heart racing. There are even some cool GO BABY GO nitrous accessories on display.
While this car celebrates some of the best classic Mustang and Shelby pieces, under the hood is something much more modern. It's a fuel-injected 5.0-liter V8, and the tidy presentation once again showcases the level of investment in this cool custom. The Flowmaster dual exhaust delivers a muscular soundtrack right next to your ear. You have complete control over this sound and the V8's fury thanks to the five-speed manual transmission. Out on the road this delivers a GT-level experience with the updated suspension, added bracing (including subframe connectors), a Panhard bar, and the modern grip of BF Goodrich gForce tires. Plus, with power steering and front disc brakes, this is an all-around great driver.
The vehicle has been meticulously stored inside a state-of-the-art air conditioned facility at Galleria BMW in D'Iberville, MS under the care of some of the top technicians in the business. A truly great classic! The sale comes with a custom Eleanor all-weather car cover, the factory build sheet, owner's manual and original warranty card – so you can see what this was before being transformed into a modern fuel-injected Eleanor.
