1960 Nash Metropolitan 2-door hardtop with only 88K miles (only
average 1491 miles/yr). Striking recent refinish in factory
attractive red/white colors done in base coat/clear coat for the
sharp shiny look. Both bumpers re-chromed, new headlight bezels,
new complete weather stripping. Excellent glass, factory cool
Continental kit with tire cover. New door handles. Correct Nash
hubcaps with optional trim rings. Excellent radial tires (not bias
belt, radial ride much better). New dual outside mirrors.
Outstanding rust-free body and really nice original dry floors.
Cool factory different looking AM radio. Optional rear bumper
guards. Interior is new with cool Houndstooth cloth, new door and
kick panels, carpet, desirable fold-down rear seat and rear trunk
opens from outside. Earlier Metro trunk was only accessible through
rear seat. Fresh rebuilt stock 4-cyl with 3-speed stick (good
clutch). So peppy, yet economical. Surprising head room, I'm 6' 1"
and still lots of head room. Very fun to drive/show off and great
conversation piece. Take delivery right off our fast and very
reasonable delivery truck. These models are appreciating nicely, so
drive for free and way more fun than money in the bank or markets.
