1970 PONTIAC GTO CONVERTIBLE:
We just acquired this rare 1970 Pontiac GTO Convertible from a
longtime owner who had it stored in his climate control warehouse
since 2001. With a little bit of work she fired right up and
actually drives out pretty well! This car is one of those that you
can run and drive as is or spend some time, money and effort and
restore it . Once restored these ragtop GOATS bring big-big money
!! Only 2173 were ever built with the 400 engine and 400 automatic
transmission and this P.H.S documented real ''242'' GTO convertible
is one of them.
Our body shop is jammed with work so we decided to offer you this
car ''AS-IS'' If you ever wanted a real 1970 GTO CONVERTIBLE for

The body is rock solid & very straight & clean including the
floors, trunk & frame and the ''POLAR WHITE" paint still shines up
really nice and is very acceptable as a daily driver or cruising to
your local car show. The same goes for the red bucket seat
interior, it is in super nice original condition with no rips or
tears just a little old and tired. The white power convertible top
is also old and tired although it works fine and looks great when
down LOL!! Even the chrome shines nice and the weather stripping is
still in good condition. The overall appearance of this car is very
nice and respectable.
Power comes from a super strong running,good sounding and correct
455 c.i.d 4 bbl.. engine that has correct ''RAM-AIR'' {very cool}.
It is backed by a crisp shifting TH-400 automatic transmission and
the original rear with 3:23 gears.
Other features include factory air conditioning, power steering,
power disc brakes {front only} power windows, rally gauge package
{in-dash tach & gauges} formula steering wheel, am-fm radio, rally
II wheels, Goodyear Eagle tires and a matching red convertible top
boot.
