Offered for sale is this True 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 4 Speed
car. From all the checking we have done this appears to be a Real
Deal L78 Chevelle. We do not have the build sheet. Last owner had
the car 27 years but had taken sick and could not drive her
anymore. It is Absolutely Beautiful inside and out. And Super Fast!
The Original 396 has been replaced with a mild build 454 at some
point. Very drive-able. It has had a Saginaw 4 speed with a short
throw shifter put in her also. It has what looks to be the Original
12 bolt 4:10 Posi Rear. To say this car is Fast and fun to drive is
an under statement. She has Factory Power Disc brakes and Power
Steering. This car has the correct 69 SS coded factory wheels on
it. The Paint, Interior, Chrome, Stainless and Glass are all in
excellent condition. My guess is this car had a Complete Rotisserie
restoration and color change at some point. This is not a 100 point
car but is a Show Stopper! Everyone that has seen this car says
that is the type of car you see at Barrett Jackson on TV. Yes it is
nice! We have found no rust on this car. I know this is not a
Numbers Matching L78 and I do not have it priced as one. If you are
serious about buying a 4 speed Big Block Chevelle you need to look
at this car. The car is priced very fairly for its condition.
