This 1991 Cadillac Coupe DeVille in excellent condition; it has 50,085 original miles on it. The car has a white exterior and gray interior and an uncommon hard (not vinyl) top. This rust-free car has always been garaged and well cared-for in Florida by its seller. The seller is a Cadillac & LaSalle Club and Antique Automobile Club of America member who showed the car repeatedly. The car is beautiful inside and out and all the photographs included here are recent.
The seller purchased the car in 2017 for $10,000 and has since invested $24,131.38 to improve it. The car was originally black but was painted period-correct cotillion white at a cost of $13,380.35. The professionally-done paint work is flawless. Additionally, four new tires with period-correct whitewalls and less than 1,000 miles on them have been installed. Furthermore, the body and climate control modules, fuel data module, hood struts, throttle cable, interior fabric headliner, front struts and mounts, front ball joints and strut towers, front stabilizer links, front brake pads and rotors, rear brake shoes, battery, fuel and air filters, distributor cap, blower motor resistor, and windshield wipers have all been replaced. Receipts and work orders documenting the seller's improvements will be provided with the car. The listing also includes the original owner's manual in its original burgundy leather case and an original 1991 Cadillac sales brochure.
This car is completely functional. The air conditioning system works and blows cold air. Both the power windows function normally, as does the cruise control system, windshield wiper mechanism, and defogger. The gearshift, transmission, and all the interior lights work. The leather seats are not torn, scratched, burned, stained, or blemished. The carpeting is very clean and the chrome and paint are extremely clean. None of the windows are chipped or cracked. The car shows extraordinarily little wear and tear.
The seller is a Cadillac enthusiast and collector who had planned to keep and show the car over a long period of time. Great effort was undertaken to make the car perfect, even to the extent of investing more in it than is justifiable considering its value.
There are some imperfections in the car. The ash tray near the front seat rattles. The audio system delivers sound but not optimally. Whether or not the cassette player works is unknown. A small chrome cover is missing from a metal piece that attaches one of the leather back seat passenger grips to the roof. The seller is aware of no other problems or defects in the car.
