This 1 Owner Trans AM 10th Anniversary Edition was owned by our
good friend Dennis Collins, famed owner of Collins Bros. Jeep in
Wylie, TX. They went through the many mechanical systems on the car
and also applied a New Paint Job at the well know Gas Monkey Garage
Shop in Dallas, TX. As this was painted for their friend, Dennis
Collins, GMG did a Top-Quality job and it shows. This Trans AM was
built in the VanNuys, California plant and spent its entire life in
Louisiana, so you know it is Rust Free. The Leather interior is in
nice beautiful condition and the dash has no cracks. This is a
beautifully restored car. The Engine is fully rebuilt and detailed.
The AC has been serviced, updated with a New Compressor and blows
cold. It shows very nice and drives out excellent. It tracks
straight and true. It is full of that Pontiac Excitement.
This Trans AM Collectors Edition comes with lots of very desirable
documentation. Included are the Original Window Sticker, multiple
build sheets and tons of original purchase documentation. There is
no overlooking the significant paperwork included with this car.
It's the icing on the cake any collector is looking for when you
purchase a quality car such as this.
These were the first Trans AM's to be priced with a MSRP over
$10,000. These cars only came one way and that was loaded. So every
available option is there. Tilt, Cruise, Power Windows, Locks and a
unique one year only Interior. These are the only 2nd Gen
Firebird's to get a Leather Interior. It was same Silver leather
used in the 1978 Corvette Pace Car. These unique cars included the
WS6 handling package and added 4 wheel disc brakes. It was the
first year this was an option on a Trans AM. All of this adds up to
one of the most prized Trans AM's you can own. This is a well cared
for, very collectible Trans AM at a very affordable price. Be sure

A few details on the restoration......... The engine was built by
Jamie Wells (All CB JEEP AND GAS MONKEY WORK). The trans is
original with a full service including pan gasket.
Paint on the car was performed by Mike Coy of Gas Monkey.
The documentation includes the engine dyno results by Wells on an
engine Dyno prior to installation to ensure no leaks or problems.
The brakes were all replaced and the interior is all New Premium
Legendary covers.
The car came from Louisiana and it was a one elderly owner find.
All under hood detail performed at Collins Classics.
