Vehicle Description
1962 Chevrolet Nova Convertible - LS1 Power - Updated Interior -
Aftermarket Front Subframe - Clean Paint and Body (Please note: If

main website, it's possible that only some of our many photographs
of this car are not presented due to website limitations. To be
sure you access all the photographs, please go to our main website:
Garage Kept Motors.) Although a loose translation in Spanish of the
name No-va is 'no-go', we can assure you that this car really
goes! This street sleeper with innocent looks is sure to surprise
plenty of sportscars with its power. It's a nicely built Nova with
an upgraded powerplant, upgraded interior, and a clean body with
very nice paint and trim. This Nova will make you want to 'go' for
a cruise! The exterior is very clean, and wears black paint which
is in very good condition throughout. Trim, bumpers, and the top
are all in great condition. The interior is tidy and includes new
carpeting and Procar seat covers on the front bucket seats. Trim,
switches, and dashboard are all in very good condition, while the
door armrests and rear seat look to be original. Dolphin gauges
with digital odometer have been installed to accurately display
data from the LS1 V8. A V8 option was not available in the first
generation Nova until 1964, so the LS1 V8 found under the hood of
this clean '62 Nova is most definitely an upgrade over the
inline-4, or inline-6 offered at the time. A 4L60E transmission is
mated to the neatly installed LS1. CPP components were added to
give this car better handling, and better braking in the form of a
front mini sub-frame and disc brakes. This innocent looking Nova
is a nice little package that packs a punch. Don't let the simple,
innocent looks fool you, it's ready to go......fast! Be sure to
