Vehicle Description
1964 Lincoln Continental 4-Door Convertible - Body Restored and
Painted by Mobsteel - Suicide Doors - Silver Blue Interior - 403ci
V8 - (Please note: If you happen to be viewing this vehicle on a

to offer this highly original example of an iconic American Luxury
vehicle. The Continental had a simple and elegant design, without
lots of chrome or fins as many of the luxury competitors still had
at the time. Smooth lines, a spacious interior, just the right
amount of chrome adornments, and a powerful V8 under the hood
attracted a great number of luxury car buyers. The owner of this
big, stately car was able to sweet talk her way into getting
Mobsteel to paint a vehicle white. So many of their builds are
painted in dark hues with vehicles customized to create menacing
custom street machines. The car was painted in the original Arctic
White (Code M) and was a solid car to begin with. During the course
of an appraisal recently done on the car, a calibrated paint meter
was used to check for any body filler, and found consistent
readings that show no issues. All chrome is in original survivor
condition and the convertible top is in good condition. All glass
appears to be original as it all has 'Ford Carlite' markings. The
interior is in good survivor condition and is still finished in the
original Silver Blue leather trim (Code: 82). Most of the interior
is original and unrestored, all gauges work, switches and knobs are
in very good condition. The power top is operational and is quite a
process to watch as the top raises or lowers. The engine is a stock
430ci V8 mated to a 'dual range' automatic transmission. A 4bbl
Carter carburetor, original points ignition system, and upgraded
electronic fuel pump are other components of note on the
drivetrain. When researching the Body Plate we found an interesting
detail. '84' decodes as Home Office Reserve on the District Sales
Office (DSO) line. This shows that the vehicle order originated at
Ford Corporate Headquarters, and the car would've been used by an
executive, or put into an executive vehicle pool. This is a great
example of an iconic American luxury vehicle that remains in
remarkable condition. This car has a great presence in our showroom
and anywhere it goes. Make a statement of your own with this
Continental convertible. Be sure to check out all the photos and
