This week Canyon State Classics has the honor of bringing to market
an extremely special car. Presented here is a 1999 Mitsubishi
Eclipse GS-T Spyder Turbo in Northstar White over Black leather
interior. This One-Owner convertible was bought new at Capitol
Mitsubishi in San Jose CA on May 30th 1999 and remained in the San
Jose area until our recent acquisition. Upon receipt of the car, we
had a brand new convertible top installed and a fresh round of
rubber on all four corners. This car is an appreciating asset and
sure to be a desirable collectible in the coming years. Dont miss

After five successful years, the devilish triumvirate of affordable
performance cars known as Eagle Talon, Mitsubishi Eclipse, and
Plymouth Laser came due for replacement. Sticking with the proven
equation of small-displacement engines augmented by a turbocharger
in top models, Mitsubishi and Chrysler developed a new car on an
enlarged platform for '95. With a 1.6-inch-longer wheelbase and
roughly two-inch-wider track, the second generation promised
improved stability and ride. By stiffening the chassis, suspension
engineers were able to fine-tune the underpinnings to improve
handling abilities and road feel without sacrificing ride comfort.
The previous MacPherson-strut/beam-axle combination was replaced
with the more complicated multilink setups in front and rear with
upper A-arms, lower lateral links, shocks, and anti-roll bars. The
resulting Eclipse and Talon-the Laser was eliminated from the
lineup-featured otherworldly styling, corner-carving suspension,
and potent performance, again in an affordable package. Base power
was provided by a 2.0-liter/140-horsepower DOHC four-cylinder,
while turbo versions exceeded 200 horsepower.

This GST Convertible is finished in its original coating of
Northstar White. It was just professionally polished and waxed to a
deep shine. Carfax shows this vehicle to be a life-long CA car with
no reported accidents. There is a damage reported for a couple of
dings on one of the rear fender well edges. The have been left as
they are since they are very minimal and the car is original paint
per meter readings. The convertible top was just replaced and the
electrical mechanisms serviced to ensure all is functioning
properly.The car has been very well cared for and always garaged
and kept out of the elements, and it show! The OEM chrome 5 spoke
wheels and tire combo look great and really help keep all the power
on the ground. All 4 wheels are wrapped in brand new Falken
performance tires.
The interior of the car is finished in Black Leather. Everything is
in very good condition with few signs of wear at all. All
components work and it is fully optioned. This car is equipped with
premium Infinity sound, climate control, power windows and power
locks. The interior in this car is almost spotless and shares the
same original characteristics of the exterior, a true testament to
a well cared for car! Dash, door panels and carpet are all in top
notch condition. This Mitsu till has original Spyder floor mats
which are hard to find! Original owners manual as well!
Mechanically, this Spyder GST is in top notch condition as it
should be. The 2.0L Turbo I4 really moves this little sports car.
Car has no faults or issues. Clutch feels strong, cart boosts well
and does not have any leaks or issues. No smoke ever on start up or
during operation. Ice cold A/C and all power accessories and
interior gauge light work well. The power top is fully
functional.
