This is a "Super Cool" 65 LeMans GTO that has had a recent restoration, started out with a clean California car, done in Silver Metallic base coat clear coat sanded and wheeled smooth, new tinted windshield - all other glass is original in excellent condition, all stainless trim is original in excellent condition, weather stripping and window felts are new, new side view mirror, new door handles, new emblems, original grills in excellent condition, original headlight bezels in excellent condition, original taillight bezels and tail panel molding which look like new, wheel well moldings are original in excellent condition, original rocker moldings in very good condition, front bumper appears to be original in very good condition, rear bumper has been re-chromed.
Gorgeous red bucket seat console interior, dash has been all redone, new dash pad, new dash cluster trim, GTO grab bar, nicely outfitted with direct fit Pontiac replacement stereo and IPOD connector, period correct tach nicely mounted on column, rare deluxe wood wheel, new headliner, new sail panels, new package tray, new front and rear door panels, arm rest and bases have also been replaced, front and rear seat covers have been replaced, nicely updated with front seat belts, original center console with correct 3 speed automatic shifter in excellent condition, new carpet with deluxe floor mats, original sill plates.
Under the hood has been nicely updated with a era correct 400 which has been rebuilt - although it has a 400 it has been dressed up to look like an original 389, heads have been reworked for No-Lead fuel, RamAir III cam, factory 4 barrel intake, thermoquad 4 barrel carb with electric choke, nicely outfitted with electronic ignition, heavy duty direct fit aluminum radiator, RamAir cast iron headers into 2 1/2 inch dual Flowmaster mandrel bent exhaust out the back, this strong running 400 is backed up with a 350 turbo trans, all new front suspension, factory 10 bolt posi rear end with 355 gear, nicely upgraded with Hotchkis rear control arms and sway bar.
Rides on a set of factory Rally I's F70/14 front and G70/14 rear.
