The Jeep Willys truck was bought in Rocksprings, Texas on May 13, 2013. The truck was used on a deer lease prior to being parked on a vacant lot. I spoke with the owner and he was willing to sell the truck if I would pay him cash. I wrote him a Bill of Sale, gave him $3000 for the truck. I put the truck on a trailer and hauled it back to Magnolia, Texas. It stayed in our barn for several months before I found a body shop. The truck was in the body shop for months. After that, I found a mechanic to finalize the final stage of the truck restoration, which was to get the truck running. Three to four months later, the Willys was ready to bring home to Magnolia.
My wife and I moved to Alto, New Mexico two years ago. At that time, I arranged to have the truck transported to our new home.
