THE STORY BEHIND THIS
1932 FORD PHEATON CONVERTIBLE
A month or so ago, we had one of my favorite Resto-Mods listed ... a ... (completely custom) 1938 Chevy Sedan Delivery. Well ... a wonderful retired gentleman from Florida contacted me ... and ... stated that he had fallen in love with it. The only problem ... was ... he already owned 5 collector cars and lived in a retirement community where his garage space was limited ... so ... he could not add another car.
I asked about what he might have to trade ... and ... he offered me his Prized & Rare 1932 FORD PHAETON HOT ROD.
You see ... he had purchased it some time ago with his late wife and they had enjoyed using it ... and ... taking it to shows. However, since he had recently remarried, he felt it was time to make a change. I was very excited since we had never had a 32 Ford that was a Phaeton. (Phaetons are large Sedan Bodies ... and ... most Ford Hot Rods utilize small Coupe Bodies). Well ... we were able to work out the trade ... and ... I can now offer you one of the most incredible Ford Resto-Mods we have ever owned.
