This 1974 Triumph Spitfire reportedly was purchased by the mother
of the seller's friend in 1981 and remained with the family until
the seller's acquisition in December 2018. The body was refinished
under prior ownership, and power is provided by an overbored
1.5-liter inline-four mated to a four-speed manual gearbox. Service
in May 2019 included rebuilt shift linkage and replacement of the
front brake lines. Modifications include a Weber side-draft
carburetor, tubular headers, dual exhaust, a lightweight flywheel,
an external oil cooler, rear air shocks, and a new convertible top.
This Spitfire is now offered at no reserve with service records, a
spare steering wheel, boot and tonneau covers, and a clean Maryland
