Vehicle Description
We are pleased to offer this high quality built 1932 Ford Highboy.
Original "Henry Ford" steel body roadster with "Brookville
replacement firewall and deck lid. Titled as 1932 Ford, this
roadster was very well restored using a Magnum stage IV chassis.
The front suspension is highly detailed with plenty of chrome
components, including the shocks, drilled drop axle, leaf spring,
and brake components. Powered by a 375HP crate 350 Cu In V8 with an
electronic fuel injection system by Kinsler Fuel Injection. The 350
block is topped off with Brodix heads and Sandersun headers. Added
to the drivability is the 350 turbohydromatic transmission with
Lokar shifter. The rear suspension is a Currie 9" Positrac with
coilover shocks. Stopping power is produced by 4 wheel disc brakes
featuring Wilwood brake calipers and components. The wheels are a
classic knockoff Halibrand style wheel wrapped with radial tires.
Another example of attention to detail is the outside walls of the
tires which have been shaved and polished smooth at the cost of
$1000.00. The rear size is P264/75R15 and the fronts are
P185/65R15.
Exterior is finished in black with custom hand painted pin
striping. The custom red leather interior was done by "The Sticher"
Ron Mangus, and accented by an Auburn style dash. Award winner at
the 2008 Grand National Roadster Show, this iconic 1932 Ford
roadster is quality from cosmetics through the mechanics, and
drives easily just as a high end street rod should.
