Vehicle Description
The Owner Of This Corvette Has Been An Avid Corvette Enthusiast For
Better Than Five Decades. With Many Frame Off Restorations
Performed In Past And Winning Bloomington Gold, He Decided To Build
This Amazing ONE OF ZR1 Corvette. Always Admiring The Corvettes Of
The 56-62 Era, The SR2's, Sebring Race Cars, The Motorama Dream
Cars And One-Of Specials That Were Built By The Factory At That
Time, He Decided To Design A Corvette To Fit A Theme That Would
Incorporate The Features Of Those Vehicles. Wanting To Do Something
That Was Not Being Done At That Time, He Commissioned A Designer To
Build A Round Tube Chassis Using The Latest Corvette Suspension Of
The Day And Called It An SRIII. This Is Serial #1. After This
Built, Many Corvette Custom Builders Decided To Purchase About 50
Frames.
