Vehicle Description
Distinct, custom, and an all-around attention grabbing presence -
that's what attracted you to this 1954 GMC Panel Delivery
Streetrod. But when you check out the craftsmanship, powerful big
block V8, and luxury features of the A/C interior, you'll soon
realize this is a cool and coordinated classic that has everything
you could ever want.
Getting attention has never been difficult for these truck/van
delivery machines, but the full custom paint and body of this one
gives it an attitude that draws people in to see the full build.
The high gloss black is a quality application. And fire that burns
all the way down the profile is that kind of thing that makes this
cool custom machine command your attention from the moment it comes
into view. As you get closer, you see they chopped inches out of
the roof to give this a sleek profile, and the adjustable air ride
suspension allows this one to hug the ground on-demand. The deleted
brightwork all around the vehicle gives it a modern look and really
makes the stylish Weld wheels really stand out. There's awesome
work with the custom logo up front, shaved door handles, sport
mirrors, frenched license plate, integrated taillights, trailer
hitch, and more. Have you seen the eagle that's leading the
flames?
Inside, the custom presentation continues. After all, you could
never get bucket seats with this much bolstering in the '50s, and
these even have awesome flames in the stitching on both rows of
leather seats. In fact, the flame-kissed theme is seen throughout
the interior panels, and your custom flamed eagle logo is even on
the dash. This one is built to be a great cruiser with a ton of
great features, including an AM/FM/CD stereo, power windows, and
air conditioning. The driver's seat power adjusts to the ideal
position. The black and chrome steering wheel is on a tilt column
to give you a good view of the full VDO gauge package, and all of
your air ride controls are neatly integrated into the center
console. There's plenty of room back there for bringing home the
trophies, but also don't forget this van's practical side. It has
all the right room to be the ideal tailgater.
Wherever you park, you're going to want to show off this big block
motor. So the whole front end tilts forward on an electronic
actuator to give this one the proper reveal it deserves. This is a
454 that you can tell is a full custom build by the smooth firewall
and all the shining components. But more than just look great, this
is a powerful V8 with a bored .030 over kit, oval ported heads, and
mild 268 Comp Cam. Plus, there are more go-fast goodies, like a
dual plenum air intake, Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock
intake, and Hooker Competition headers that feed add power while
feeding the glasspack-style dual exhaust. This one might sound
wicked, but it was also built to be smooth. The same goes for the
TH400 three-speed transmission. It's stout enough to handle all the
power, and it's also easy for automatic cruising. This feeds a
stout Ford 9-inch rear with limited slip differential. Plus, this
has power steering, the front subframe borrowed from a Cadillac,
and front disc brakes. So this custom can was meant to be a true
driver.
Complete with build receipts, there's so much to go over on this
one, that you'll need to call us for all the details. Of course,
