Here's your chance to own an extremely original and unmolested
Jensen Interceptor with the famous 440 Chrysler engine. This car
has never been restored and has spent most of the last 30 years in
a climate-controlled garage only being driven occasionally to keep
it in working order. The interceptors are truly unique vehicles.
You have the last of the great 60's muscle luxury GT's. If you look
at the other European GT's powered by American engines such as the
Iso you realize the Jensens are a bargain in today's market.
The interior is actually in very good condition but the leather dye
on the door panels, front seats and console has worn unevenly and
would benefit greatly from a re-dye. The driver's seat leather does
need repair or recovering. There are no cracks in the dash. The
wood around the gear selector has excellent veneer, but the clear
finish coat has cracked as is typical on English cars of this
era.
The original 440 engine starts and runs very well with no smoking,
rattles or any other bad habits. it would take very little to make
a daily driver out of this car. Wouldn't be nice to own an exotic
with a powerful engine that can be serviced with parts from your
local parts store?
Are you looking for a very rare classic car with the performance
and amenities to be safe and enjoyable on the road with modern
traffic? Do you think having the only car of its type at the car
show or cruise in is a plus? This is your car!
