what you need to know is this: all of the older boxers are subject
to IMS bearing failure which turns your valuable engine into a
piece of junk. Unless it is replaced before it fails, at a cost of
two or three thousand dollars. This car has had the IMs bearing
replaced with the dual row ceramic bearing. There are no recorded
instances of this bearing failing. While it was being done, also
installed a new clutch. The car is in overall great shape has four
new tires good brakes all around and a brand spanking new rear
window in the convertible top. it also has a new water pump which
should be periodically and proactively replaced every 3 or 4 years.
