Vehicle Description
1967 Ford Country Sedan Wagon For Sale - Factory Q-Code 428,
California Delivered, Ultra Rare LMC is very proud to offer for
sale this 1967 Ford Country Sedan Wagon There likely isn't a baby
boomer alive that hasn't ride in a station wagon at one time or
another. These land yachts could carry up to 8 passengers, with
plenty of room for all their luggage up on the roof rack. The
standard engine for the 1967 Ford Country Sedan Wagon was the
straight-six, but buyers now had quite a few more powerful options
to choose from. One was the 289-cu.in. small-block V-8, which
developed 200hp with a two-barrel carburetor. The other optional
V-8s were a 250hp 352-cu.in. four-barrel and a 390-cu.in.
big-block, available in either 265hp two-barrel trim or as a
four-barrel version that made a meaty 315hp. The top gun was a
428-cu.in. 345 hp V-8; very few wagons were so equipped. Only 206
came factory equipped with the 428ci engine and C6 Automatic making
this one of the most desirable station wagons ever produced. This
ultra-rare wagon was sold new at High Performance Ford dealer Mel
Burns in Long Beach, California on 11/08/66. His dealership sold
and delivered many original Shelby Cobras and Shelby Mustangs. This
car was factory ordered in the attractive Brittany Blue paint
scheme with a matching 6B Blue Vinyl interior. This wagon came
highly optioned from the factory, the most important of all being
the Q-Code big block 428ci Engine backed by a C-6 Automatic
Transmission. Other options include Factory Air Conditioning,
Deluxe Trim, Closed Crankcase Emission System, Exhaust Emission
Control, Power Rear Window, Power Side Windows, Power Drum Brakes,
Power Steering, AM Radio, Rear Seat Speaker, Tinted Glass, Deluxe
Seat Belts, Manual Right Hand Mirror and Remote Control Left Hand
Mirror. No one can deny the cool factor of a station wagon
outfitted with a 428ci engine that spent the better part of its
life on the west coast. They are extremely rare, as only 206 were
factory built with this engine and transmission combination. How
many are left today? It is the ultimate sleeper that can still
carry 8 passengers! Additional Details: 1967 FORD COUNTRY SEDAN -
