stepfather in the 1970s and spent time on Orcas Island, Washington
prior to two decades in storage starting in 1994. A subsequent
refurbishment bythe seller was completed in 2017 and consisted of
rust repairs, arepaint in white, and new bumpers. Modifications
include a suspension lift with Rough Country shocks, racing-style
seats, a Weber carburetor, an aftermarket exhaust header, Fuel
wheels, an HEI distributor, a PTO winch, a custom roll cage, LED
lighting, and more. Power is from a 3.9-liter straight-six paired
with a three-speed manual gearbox and a two-speed transfer case.
Approximately 500 miles have reportedly been addedsince completion
of the build, and this FJ40 is now offered with refurbishment
receipts as well asa clean Washington State title in the seller's
