Mechanical
Our SS has the original 305 cubic-inch V8 under the hood that was a
High Output version topped with a Rochester four-barrel carburetor
and features power steering, front disc brakes, sway bars front and
rear, and powered thru the original 200-4R four-speed automatic
transmission.
It rides on chrome 10-spoke custom mag wheels with B.F. Goodrich
Radial T/A tires with exhaust flowing out the rear exit dual
exhaust with chrome tips.
Interior
Ours has a grey cloth/vinyl Bucket seat interior with a center
console, SS steering wheel, full round gauge package with
tachometer, Cruise control, tilt wheel, electric rear defogger, the
original AM/FM/cassette stereo, power windows, power locks, and air
conditioning.
Exterior
Our SS personal luxury coupe is painted in a factory Maroon with a
nice luster and has the correct factory triple-stripe and SS decals
as well as the urethane chin spoiler and unique nose was created to
cheat the wind as the body was used by GM in its NASCAR cars that
year.
