I purchased the Corvette in 1983. I had it checked out thoroughly by Corvette City in Denver. He completely went through the engine. During the process, they changed from mechanical lifters to hydraulic lifters. Fewer adjustments. The mileage, at that point, was 68,000 plus miles. Switched from a Carter to a Holley four barrel carburetor. Over the next two years, had a General Motors mechanic and Corvette City make sure all parts were up to date and working.
I had the Corvette repainted to GM specs in July 2002, by Mac’s Custom Paint of Denver.
Over the last seventeen years, all maintenance and updates have been done by Lakeside Auto. Osage Beach MO.. A computer record has been kept of the work since 2008, log is available. It absolutely runs great, really hate to part with it.
