the Mustang in 1984. First, was the introduction of the
turbocharged 4-cylinder SVO model as a real alternative to V-8
powered cars. Second, was the introduction of electronic fuel
injection (EFI) on the 5.0L V-8. Ford sold 151,248 Mustangs for the
1984 model year. Of those, only 5,260 were Annersary Edition
