Vehicle Description
This restored 1972 Chevrolet C10 Pickup is anything but
conventional. Instead, this truck is a wolf in sheep's clothing, a
4-wheel drive, go anywhere, haul anything custom beast. The 4x4's
are getting harder and harder to find, so often a 4x4 conversion is
the only way to go. Don't sweat it, this one has already been done!
Just lock the hubs and roll!
1972 was the last year of the second generation Chevy C/C pickups.
They had twelve years to refine and perfect the looks, power, and
suspension, and they really nailed it on all three counts. These
Chevrolet C10's are highly desirable collector trucks, and for good
reason. They're drop-dead gorgeous, well built, and easily drivable
in traffic.
Outside, the full restoration gives this truck a calculated
tactical look. A mean and unique Silver Green, and black
accents-bumpers, fender flares, tonneau cover, rear stripe, and
wheels-this truck has the "it" factor. It also looks great with a
1969 grille, one more feature that sets this truck apart and keeps
people guessing. Beyond swagger, this truck is off-road capable.
Great for hunting and fishing, getting into the mountains, and
more-where do you want to go? This '72 C10 will take you there.
This truck was custom built, with frame, drivetrain and suspension
all derived from a factory 1969 4WD K10 Blazer. Power is provided
by the venerable 350 V8, a Chevy motor with great pedigree,
abundant parts, and a broad knowledge base. You can't go wrong! A
three speed automatic transmission and manual transfer case get the
power to two or four wheels, as desired. This truck benefits from
rear leaf springs, boosting the burly factor, standard equipment
only on the 30 series trucks.
The inside has clearly benefited from the restoration as well, and
is dressed all in black to match the theme. Black vinyl bench
seat-freshly upholstered, black dash, door panels, and floor
mats-all look like new. No cracks in the steering wheel, even the
pedals are in good shape. The stereo system has been upgraded with
speakers in the door and a removable face stereo in the dash. All
in all, there's not much more to ask, except perhaps, "Where do I
sign?"
