This 1990 2 door Range Rover is unlike its other Range Rover brothers for some obvious reasons and some that are not so obvious. First off it is a 2 door. The USA only received 4 doors when new. Build quality and reliability are typically not associated with this brand. However if properly cared for they are unlike any other vehicle on the road. This Rover lived a very pampered life in Spain by one owner until being sold to the USA. 100% legally imported and registered this is a turn key example. Turn the ignition and you will hear the clean 4 cylinder turbo Diesel engine spring to life. Mated to a smooth shifting 5 speed manual transmission this body on frame SUV is rather sprite on the highway. While very civil around town it is also capable in the snow or off road with a high and low range full time all wheel drive system. You would be hard pressed to tell that this is a capable off-roader as it wafts around town with the ride quality of a Bentley. And it has some surprising luxury features that weren't found on American SUVs of the era. Keyless entry, power windows, 6 disc CD changer, power mirrors, A/C and a tow hitch. All of which are in surprisingly great and functioning order. Did I mention that this has been extremely well maintained? Is this the nicest one available? After importing many vehicles from Europe to the USA, it is safely the nicest one we have seen. The exterior has seen a repaint and there are no signs of corrosion or rust. The tires and wheels are in great condition and the exterior presents very well. We know this is the Rover you have been looking for because it is the one we have too!
