Completely restored, frame off, in the 90's. A new Hampton period correct interior was installed, The original engine was completely rebuilt and runs perfectly. The 3-speed column shift is as smooth as it gets. The car was repainted the factory-correct, sensational Ruby Maroon color. There are a few very tiny issues with the paint but nothing major. The chrome is flawless as are the stainless steel pieces. The dash is perfect and has the correct wood grain finish (see photos) and the beautiful original steering wheel. The radio is not functioning nor is the clock but both are there. The upholstery is simply gorgeous. The window glass and seals are like new. The correct front shocks have just been replaced ($1,300). Look at the last photo of the undercarriage...it is incredibly clean. The car runs and drives like it did when new...this is not an overstatement. There are papers and documents tracing the car's history. You won't find a more beautiful 1941 Chevrolet coupe at this price.
