Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we celebrate our 20th year in the
classic and muscle car business. Ford created an entirely new
market segment when they released the Mustang in April of 1964. By
1967, all of the major American manufacturers had at least one
model in this new 'ponycar' class, and they've been chasing the
Mustang ever since. This beautifully restored 1971 Mustang Mach 1
Sportsroof clearly demonstrates the wide-ranging appeal and
flexibility of this model. The correct original features of this
gem are documented by a Deluxe Marti Report and include the
legendary 351C engine (M), C-6 Select Shift Cruise-O-Matic
automatic transmission (U), 3.00 axle ratio (6), power steering,
power front disc brakes, Selectaire air conditioning, Sport Deck
rear seat, console, tinted glass, and an AM radio. Tasteful
upgrades include the rear window louvers, rear wing, functional Ram
Air hood, Magnum 500 wheels, and the radio has been replaced with a
modern stereo in the uncut dash. This car will appeal to a wide
range of enthusiasts because it offers an outstanding combination
of performance and comfort; not always easy with classic muscle
cars. Also, this is one of only 133 1971 Mustangs with the same
paint/trim combination. Documentation includes 3 (!) build sheets,
photographs, receipts, and the aforementioned Deluxe Marti Report.
This is a quick, comfortable classic that's ready for action!
