Vehicle Description
1973 Chevrolet Camaro LT For Sale- RS Split Bumper, Vintage Air A/C
LMC is proud to offer for sale this 1973 Camaro LT By 1973, the
muscle-car era was drawing to a close. Several factors, including
spiking insurance costs, the newly-mandated use of low-octane,
unleaded gasoline, new emissions regulations, and an oil embargo,
all contributed. Nonetheless, General Motors in particular was
determined to end on a high note. 1973 represents a significant
year in Camaro history for a few reasons. First, this was the last
year of the second-generation Camaro to not come equipped with
awkward, bulky, heavy safety bumpers. This example is equipped with
a split front bumper and tasteful chrome rear bumper that
coordinate well with Dark Red Metallic paint. This beautiful Camaro
is also fitted with the Type LT package, new for 1973, giving it a
well-appointed interior, with textured vinyl seats and various wood
appointments throughout the interior. A bold "Type LT" badge adorns
the steering wheel as well. It's powered by a great running 350
crate engine, dressed as an LT-1 with appropriate air cleaner and
valve covers, mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. This Camaro
runs and drives exceptionally well. It goes, turns, and stops very
nicely without any delays. Moving on from 1973, we find that this
Camaro is perfectly equipped for long summer drives with the
addition of a Vintage Air A/C system and a modern stereo unit that
far outclasses the original AM radio. This is a great car for any
enthusiast looking for a comfortable and great driving muscle car!
