Vehicle Description
At first glance, this is a nicely-done 1984 Chevrolet C10. But the
true show-stopper is when you lift the hood and see nothing there!
This is actually a rear engine pickup with a huge Cadillac 500 V8
in the bed. This amazing setup is a true custom build that you're
going to love showing off everywhere.
We'll get to the ultra-cool powertrain in a moment, but first take
some time to appreciate the style of this truck. A nice newer
application of Roman Red has the kind of modern clearcoat shine
that will instantly attract attention. Straight body panels, bright
chrome bumpers, and a billet grille all give the impression of a
classic pickup that has been treated with respect. So this is a
looker even before people check out the beast in the back.
Inside is more of the classic Chevy C10 look with a deep red
interior that complements the bold red on the outside. This has a
nice stock look with a textured bench seat and plush carpeting.
Plus, it has the right premium features of the day like power
windows, power locks, and an AM/FM stereo. There are even
provisions for air conditioning. But really we know your favorite
breezes in the cab come from the old school-style opening the vent
windows and sliding the rear glass. In fat, the largest upgrade
you'll notice inside is the classic Cadillac steering wheel, and
that's just a cool nod to what's powering this pickup.
You can peel back the soft tonneau cover to show off this special
powerhouse. Or if you really want to impress them, the bed also has
a hydraulic tilt to lift it in the air. Either way, crowds are
going to gather when they see this one. The bed is permanently
hauling Cadillac's largest V8 ever. This 500 cubic-inch motor was
prepped and installed less than 10k miles ago when this build was
being completed, and it has a great fresh look. And while this
should be plenty of power for most of us, this is also topped with
a Demon four-barrel carburetor. The custom exhaust feeds a nice
Flowmaster dual setup. It's a thoughtful build, and that's why
there is even a high pressure line that delivers coolant from the
radiator (that's still in its proper place up front) to the motor.
You have nice driving features like a three-speed automatic
transmission, power steering, and four wheel disc brakes. And
because the big V8 was built for front-drive cars like the
Eldorado, this special setup in the rear gives you a fully
independent suspension - how many custom classic pickups have
that!
This is one special Chevy, and so you know you need to hurry if you
want to take it home. Call today!!!
