I’ve owned the car since 2007, put about 30K on it since then, driven only in summer. Replaced pretty much everything over the years:
front bumper, front grill, clear style headlights, timing chain, thermostat, K&N filters, lifter assembly rebuilt, head shaved just a little, tri- metal main bearings replaced, new clutch, payen gaskets, MotoLita steering wheel, brake and clutch master/slave cylinders, distributor rebuilt by Advanced Distributors, Flamethrower ignition, generator, starter, old wiring harness replaced with Advanced Wiring Power Block relay and fuse system (schematic included), tranny rebuilt by Quantum Mechanics, Peco exhaust system, new seat pads, webbing and leather seat covers, new top from Prestige Auto Trim, Mini Lite wheels with knock off hubs, rear lever shocks replaced with new tube style, luggage rack, rear bumper, all bushings and mountings converted to Poly. Riding on Kumho Solus KR21 P195 65/R14 with 7K miles on them.
Horns, windshield, water and oil pumps original. Great engine strong as a bull, has the nicks and dings that you would expect in a 50 year old car. Sound and passes inspection with no problems. Clear title.
Vehicle comes with most of the original components that I replaced, manuals and MGB specific small parts, plus every John Twist video he ever did, on a thumb drive. Selling because I’m getting too old to easily get under it and have fun. Half the fun of these babies is doing the work that doesn’t really need to be done, and I can’t do that anymore. .
