a very rare 1965 Chrysler Newport Convertible is showing 36,000
mile. The previous owner had the 383 engine rebuilt prior to it
turning over 100,000 miles. Owner installed a new stock cam package
with new cam, lifters, timing chain and gears. Also replaced the
push rods, rockers and rocker shafts While it was apart installed
new water pump and new Edelbrock four barrel carb with electric
choke. Rebuilt front end with new upper and lower ball joints and
front end aliment. Recondition gas tank, new fuel line with new
fuel pump. Old speedometer cable replaced with new one. New
windshield and gasket installed. New shocks front and rear. Front
and rear seats reupholstered with correct factory material. New
15"' Michelin tires with Chrysler magnum wheels. I had receipts for
all repairs and parts mention. All of these repairs were done in
the last two years. The 65 Chrysler is one of only 15 Newport
convertibles built with a factory A833 four speed transmission with
a Hurst Shifter. 383 cubic inch four barrel engine with 330 HP. Non
air condition with power steeling and power brakes. All gauges work
along with speedometer. Electric power top but manual windows. FM
and Am radio that works but needs rebuilding along with speakers.
Rust free car with older factory frost turquoise paint job.Front
and rear seats reupholstered with correct factory material. New
15"' Michelin tires with Chrysler magnum wheels. All receipts
available for all repairs and parts mentioned.
