In 2008, Chevrolet created the Wil Cooksey Edition Z06. Produced in limited quantity, there were only a total of 505 cars made worldwide and only 427 for the US market. Available only in Crystal Red Tintcoat with Optional 3LZ Titanium Two Tone Leather Wrapped Interior. Features graphics on the hood and fascia and 427 badging that evokes the style of the famed stinger hood design offered on the iconic 1967 427 corvettes. The center console is highlighted with red carbon fiber and has been personally signed and numbered by Will Cooksey under the center armrest. Inside you’ll find an excellent sounding Bose Stereo , heads up display, heated sport seats w/memory, dual zone climate and power telescoping steering.
Power comes from a 505HP 7.0L engine with dual mode exhaust system and a 6-speed manual transmission. Running gear includes active handling system and spider chrome wheels. 427 of these cars were destined for the North American market, with another 78 going to foreign markets for a total of 505, the same number as the LS7 engines horsepower rating.
