In the 1960s you bought a Buick because you wanted style to go with
your V8 power. Today that spirit has made them a true unique
cruiser. And in the case of this 1964 Buick LeSabre, and its
original 300ci V8, there have been investments to take the classic
style and turn it up with modern flair.
These full-size Buicks had some of the best designs for the era.
The styling is a little more curvaceous than the Olds and Cadillac
C-bodies, but the classic lines are not what first caught your eye
here. Instead, it's the modern Snake Skin Green Metallic paint that
instantly gives this coupe a memorable look. And when you take this
out in the sunshine, the high-gloss modern paint showcases the
crisp lines of the sheetmetal as the awesome multi-stage paint
radiates light and shows off its depth. Plus, the silver draws
attention to the classic pillarless hardtop roof, and it also
matches the paint within the full-length trim line. And because
this LeSabre is going to draw plenty of attention, they made sure
this has complete trim and freshly re-dipped chrome bumpers. Plus,
the addition of the Ridler wheels not only contribute to this great
custom look, but also the 17/18-inch front/rear stagger gives this
one a terrific stance.
The full white interior is a great upgrade that's looking bright.
So you'll happily leave the windows down to show the interior of
this pillarless hardtop. This was Buick's full-size offering so
there's plenty of room for you to comfortably share the classic car
experience with family and friends. And black carpeting means you
don't have to worry if they dusted their shoes off first. There are
a few nice subtle upgrades, like the three-spoke sports steering
wheel and cleanly installed auxiliary readouts. But this interior
also really likes to keep its classic style. That's why the dash
has a great original look, right large and bright gauge pods and
the factory AM radio that's still cranking out tunes.
Under the hood is the original 300 cubic-inch V8. This is a
significant motor, because '64 was the first year for Buick's own
small block V8. It's legendary in many circles for being robust and
providing the kind of torque that we love in big classic American
cars - and this is where it debuted! The engine bay has quite an
honest look to it, but the way the V8 fires up nicely also proves
that it has been treated with the right car. There's even a newer
aluminum radiator. Plus, this V8 inhales deeply with an Edelbrock
four-barrel carburetor and exhales with a sweet sound out of the
dual exhaust. And with power steering, a three-speed automatic
transmission, power brakes, and modern grippy tires, this is a
great recipe for cruising. So it's easy to show off this Buick's
custom look.
This is the coupe that catches the eye and has robust classic
power. So when it's all offered for a great price, you know you
need to hurry and call today!
