Real R/T with original fender tag and build sheet. Very rare white
car.
EXTERIOR: This car looks great in white with the black accents.
It's rare, I cant recall seeing another like it. I actually just
googled it and out of hundreds of pics I only found a convertible
trimmed out like this car. It's a solid southern car. Body is nice
and straight, fits nice. Looking down both sides it's really
straight. Original quarters, bottom of doors and fenders are clean.
Up front the bumper and the moldings look new, the grill is in
excellent shape. The power bulge hood has the blackout treatment
and new hood pins. The sides of the car have new emblems, wheel
well trim, door handles and pop up gas cap. The stainless trim
around the top and windows have been polished, vinyl top is new. In
back it has spoiler, new emblem, rear bumper and tail light
assembly. Door jambs are painted real nice, bottom of doors are
clean. New weatherstrips and sill plates. 15 inch Rallye wheels are
brand new including all the trim. New set of reproduction Polyglas
GT tires that look fantastic on this car.
INTERIOR: It's really in excellent shape. The dash pad is in very
nice shape. This has the rally gauges including tachometer. Clock
works. It originally had am 8-track, now it has rare Am-FM (not
hooked up). What's really nice inside this car is the plastic trim.
The side panels, windshield pillars, trim and console is really
excellent. Up above, the headliner looks like it's new, also the
visors. Overhead light works. It has it's original seat belts. The
upholstery has been redone, cushions feel good. Has new carpet and
embroidered floor mats. Has owner's manual and literature in
glovebox. So yes, it's a very nice interior.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Has a period correct 383 Magnum. Runs strong,
has a great sound. Has Hooker Super Competition headers. Everything
looks tidy and proper. Has new aluminum water pump, mopar radiator
with proper shroud and fan. Even has correct hose clamps. On top
sits the dual snorkel air cleaner with a 383 Magnum pie tin. Wiper
motor and alternator look newer. The engine bay has rust free,
damage free metal painted white. The original fender tag is
attached.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Solid metal. Has original quarter panels. Has
rubber mat, the jack assembly is mounted properly, has an original
Goodyear Polyglass tire for a spare. New weather strip, bottom of
the trunk lid painted nice, has a jack instructions decal.
UNDERSIDE: Front end looks like it's been completely rebuilt, has
sway bar. Bottom of the motor is spotless. Has flywheel cover and
new starter. Has 727 Torqueflite trans. In back shocks are new, has
sway bar. Fuel tank is newer. Brakes, lines and hoses were recently
replaced. Has disc in front, e-brake cables are hooked up. Recent
dual exhaust system with the square tips coming out the valance.
Really clean floors and frame rails. I dont see patches or rust.
The entire underside of this car is clean looking and proper.
This is a tough looking, genuine muscle car. 1970 was the peak
performance year and the most desirable. Really, the white and
black combo sets this R/T apart from all the others.
