Vehicle Description
This 2000 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning was first sold from Peffley Ford
in Dayton, Ohio and now shows a little over 13,000 miles. Power
comes from a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 paired with a four-speed
automatic transmission, and the truck is finished in Bright Red
over a Medium Graphite cloth and leather interior. Additional
equipment includes 18-inch wheels, a tonneau cover, air
conditioning, a six-disc CD changer. The body is finished in Bright
Red and features black trim, a sliding rear window, an ARE hard
tonneau cover and a Class III receiver hitch. The Carfax report
shows no recorded accidents or other damage. Factory 18 inch
silver-painted wheels are mounted with Goodyear Eagle F1 tires
showing 2000 date codes. The truck is equipped with four-wheel
anti-lock disc brakes. The interior features a split-bench seat
upholstered in Medium Graphite cloth with leather inserts.
Additional amenities include a power-operated driver?s seat, air
conditioning, a factory AM/FM stereo with a cassette deck and a
six-disc CD changer, and an overhead console. White instrumentation
includes temperature, oil pressure, and boost gauges as well as an
AutoMeter air/fuel meter on the column. 1 of 1405 Bright Red
Lightning produced for the 2000 model year. A total of 4966 were
built totally in 2000. Ford re-introduced the Lightning in 1999
based on the 1997 body style. The supercharged 5.4-liter V8
features a Johnny Lightning Performance air induction kit and was
rated at 360 horsepower with 440 lb-ft of torque when new. The
engine was backed by a 4R100 automatic transmission that sent power
to the 3.55 gears in the rear end. The Lightning featured
specialized 18-inch wheels mounted with Goodyear Eagle F1
295/45ZR-18 tires. The Lightnings suspension system was one inch
lower in the front and two inches lower in the rear than the
