1978 Fiat 124 Spider 1800. This car is fantastic to drive. This car
is being driven often so miles will go up and no the odometer has
not rolled over. Current owner is the second owner and has owned
the car for a few months. It sat from 1987 until 2019. Since then
its been driven 1500 miles and have put new tires on, new brakes, a
brand new convertible top, new electronic ignition system to remove
the dual points system, it has an electric fuel pump although the
mechanical one is there and works fine if you care to switch back,
new alternator, new water pump in box not installed as it has no
leaks and works fine, did the timing belt about 700 miles ago so
you're good for another 60000 or 20 years, oil change, coolant
flush, battery, rebuilt carb and more. This car comes with a custom
hard top by snug tops in long beach California. It has the original
tool kit as well. Have the intake for dual 40 Weber's but haven't
sourced the carbs yet. It also comes with a spare aluminum head
assembly The head unit is out and have a retro looking replacement
that's an exact for on order but it's on back order from Italy.
This is a fiat and have found some weird electrical Gremlins from
the previous owner that have been fixed. Also have the original
bumbers and they have decent chrome on them. Carb needs a tune
since it was rebuilt and needs a better than stock air cleaner.
