This 1968 Mercedes-Benz 280SL reportedly remained with its first
owner until it was purchased in Tulsa by a collector of German
classic cars in 1981 and brought to Washington State, where he sold
it to the second owner, a colleague and fellow collector, five
years ago. Finished in blue over Parchment MB-Tex, the car is
powered by a matching-numbers 2.8L inline-six paired with the
original 4-speed automatic transmission. Work in 2016 included
replacing the brake booster, servicing the air conditioning system,
refreshing the interior, fitting a period Becker radio, and
installing a new soft top. This W113 is now offered on dealer
consignment with service records, a tool kit, a set of 250SL
manuals, a collection of new factory decals, copy of the data card,
and a clean Washington title. This listing is live now, and only
