Vehicle Description
This 1971 Chevrolet Nova looks mean from every angle. And when you
look under the big hood, there's ferocious V8 power. So dig into
all the details on how they invested nicely to create your dream
muscle machine.
This Nova is a serious contender from the moment it comes into
view. Up front the SS badge on the clean grille is subtle, but the
custom fiberglass hood with huge power bulge screams power. Plus,
the staggered size of the Weld racing wheels give this a great
stance and plenty of extra shine (it complements the chrome bumpers
nicely.) But what really has you sold is the full paint package.
The black has a nice luster as it highlights the Nova's fastback
roofline and a hint of flying buttress. Plus, the full-length blue
stripe showcases the cool curves of this Chevy coupe.
One look inside, and you can tell this was built for driving. This
is a full midnight package. In fact, the red bow tie embroidered on
the back of the bucket seats some of the only color you see
radiating in this darkness. You get a grippy sports steering wheel,
full auxiliary gauge trio, and an AutoMeter Sport-Comp tach
prominently in front of you. And that last one goes particularly
well with the Hurst shifter.
Under the hood lives a beautiful beast. The clean black fender
walls funnel your attention to all the shining components like the
alternator, air topper, shroud, and Chevrolet valve covers. But
what you'll really love about this 350 cubic-inch V8 are all the
performance upgrades. It has an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor,
Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake, AFR 75cc aluminum heads, and an MSD
ignition. Plus, the headers add even more power while contributing
to the dual exhaust. But when you really want to bring the thunder,
there's a dash-mounted switch to open up the electronic cutouts on
the exhaust. The powerful motor is mated to a close ratio Muncie
M21 four-speed manual transmission, and that feeds a Positraction
rear end with versatile 3.73 gears. A car like this wants to take
off with power and confidence, so you also have frame connectors,
traction bars, and wide Mickey Thompson rear tires. Plus, there are
disc brakes up front to keep control well in hand.
This is a mean-looking Nova with all the right power to back it up.
