THE STORY BEHIND THIS
1953 WILLYS DELUXE STATION WAGON
Some time ago, we had a incredible 1962 Volkswagen "Kombi" 11-Window Bus listed ... that was ... a "World Class" beautiful build.
In fact ... It was the first VW Bus we have ever purchased ... but ... probably will not be the last. You see ... we fell in Love with VW Buses!
Well ... a very nice gentleman from Virginia Beach, Virginia (who was a Old Car & Surfing Fanatic) contacted me ... and ... said that he had been looking for a VW "Kombi" Bus like ours ... and ... offered me his prized Custom 1953 Willys Deluxe Station Wagon as a trade. I have always loved Willys Vehicles ... and ... we just sold a1948 Willys Jeepster ... but ... we had never had the opportunity own a Willys Station Wagon. Well ... after seeing the pictures, we realized that this was no ordinary Willys Station Wagon.
It was a Fantastic Custom / Modified Willys
