1991 Pontiac Firebird Formula in Uncasville, Connecticut
This 1991 Firebird Formula is one of 46 Formulas produced for the
1991 model year with the option code-1LE Performance Package and
one of only 27 with the LB9 5.0-liter engine and MM5 5-speed manual
transmission. Additionally, it is one of 8 Firebird 1LEs built with
factory T-Tops. The 1LE Performance Package includes larger 11-1/2"
brake rotors and heavy-duty brake calipers, an aluminum driveshaft,
an engine oil cooler, special heavy-duty springs and shocks and
special high-wall fuel tank. However, this 1LE Firebird was loaded
with optional equipment, except for air conditioning, which was not
available with the 1LE option and manual transmission. This car was
ordered in bright red with gray cloth trim. It was built at the Van
Nuys assembly plant on March 8, 1991, and shipped to Burman Motors,
Inc, in Larame, WY, for delivery to its first owner.
