Vehicle Description
This is a running and driving project.
GR Auto Gallery is thrilled to offer this International Scout
opportunity. It is no secret that the vintage 4X4 market is on fire
and the International Scout leads the way.
Offered here is an original, unmolested 1977 International Scout
Traveler. This truck rolled off the line in Fort Wayne Indiana on
December 22, 1976. This truck is highly optioned including the
desirable 345 V8, automatic transmission, 4 wheel drive, power
steering, power brakes, deluxe interior trim package, deluxe
exterior trim package, sliding rear side glass, luggage rack etc.
The truck retains its original Tan Bark exterior presentation over
Tan Bark interior presentation with desirable plaid upholstery
option. The interior is all original including seats, rubber
flooring, and the full interior deluxe trim package. The exterior
remains original as well and shows some needs in the lower rockers
and a dent in the right rear quarter. The trim package is
complete.
Mechanically, the truck runs and drives. Could use a tune up. On
our testing the 4WD engages well. Added value includes roof mounted
spotlight, CB radio, fog lights, heavy duty rear bumper and
upgraded radio.
This truck was sold new in the State of Washington were it spent
the majority of its time and last state of residence was South
Dakota.
This Scout has all the potential in the world to be a great piece.
It has great bones and its all there. The truck is documented with
the original line ticket, original warranty sheet with original
owner info, and original owners manual.
