The Toyota MR2 and MR2 Spyder were sports cars made by Toyota. They were sold from 1984 until 2007. The MR2 is a mid-engine sports car, similar to cars by Ferrari and Porsche. MR2 is an acronym for midship, rear-wheel-drive, two-seater.

This one owner, garage kept, mid-engine sports car was bought as an upgrade to this consigner because she wanted a turbo, T top, and more power conveniences than her 1992 offered. And now it graces the halls of Classic Auto Mall, here for the mid engined taking!

Exterior
With an all-black exterior, it could be as menacing as Darth Vader, Dale Earnhardt, The Flying Monkeys and The Wicked Witch of the West in OZ, and many others, and has a secret weapon hidden in its mid-section...Lions! Tigers! and Bears!...OH MY. Meanwhile this car presents overall nicely and has been well cared for not unlike a favorite toy, brought out, and played with, then put neatly away for the next time. A mere 62,222 miles (my lucky number!!) Removable "T" top panels with their own cover, and a rear spoiler in back and hidden headlights up front, I'm shaking in my boots with excitement. "You asked for it...you got it".

Interior
More excitement here with tan leather buckets floating in a sea of clean tan carpet, and fronted by a menacing black dash, and scary middle console with a little shifter, which is better for the drifter as they say... (Actually I just make that up!) Overall all clean, tear and smudge free, sporty yet comfortable, and ready to have its fuse lit to provide some fireworks on a good curvy back road.

Drivetrain
Right in the middle of its structural loins, and curvalicious body styling is the.... DUN DUN DUN...2.0 Liter TURBO Electronic Fuel Injection high revving 4 popper that will spin the tires in 3rd gear, and smoke many an unsuspecting muscle car with ease..just don't make it a long race! A short shifting 5-speed manual transmission allows you to roll smoothly through the power curves of the engine, as well as the curves of the open road.
