Up for sale today is my personally restored 1966 Chevrolet Corvette. This Corvette was recently inspected by a NCRS Master Inspector. His comments were that it is PRICED RIGHT, NICE QUIET RIDE, and BETTER THAN MOST. I assembled this car, and am a Certified GM trained Automotive technician. Training was conducted at GMs training center in Dedham, Ma, and assembled this car from Chevrolets factory assembly manual, which will be included with the car, as well as a custom fitted car cover. This totally restored Corvette was all original, including engine, transmission, and rear end. All parts including frame, and other related parts, such as A frames, drive shafts, etc., were sand-blasted, primed, and painted. All lights, door handles, emblems, bumpers, weatherstrips and more are original new old stock from GM. All body mounts, motor mounts, and transmission mounts, replaced. Brake calipers are rebuilt with stainless steel sleeves and silicone brake fluid installed. Engine has recently been rebuilt by a local very reputable engine builder, which included digital balancing of all components including flywheel, to make for a smooth powerful engine. Screw in rocker arm studs were also added during the engine rebuild. All parts including rods, with ARP bolts, pistons, bearings and more were replaced. Also replaced the oil pump with a high volume pump with a new correct style baffled oil pan, as this car has the L79 engine option (350 HP). Distributor which still has the original tag around its base has been upgraded to a (GM approved) Lectric Limited electronic ignition single wire ignition to look as the original did, and to eliminate ignition problems, and still look factory original. (Original ignition parts included with car). A new Holly carburetor, correct model # and new battery were recently replaced. Also engine chrome and mounting hardware was replaced. Car has original AM FM radio as well as power antenna. New black convertible top, and seats upgraded with new Foam & Leather for a durable and nice soft touch. All engine, transmission, rear differential, and other parts were photographed and recorded to display the matching numbers for documentation during assembly or disassembly and will be included with sale. Door panels are the factory original ones and in good shape but not perfect. Starter and alternator are not original to the car, but correct. Drives very nicely, and a real pleasure to drive, turns heads anywhere you go. A real attention getter. Many times Best in Show. Car has a clean original title.
