As Cliffy said in Cheers - "Here's a little known fact". GM started
producing a Black Knight El Camino in 1978. They were issued a
cease and desist order by Marvel Comics. So for the 1979 model year
GM created the Royal Knight El Camino. The Royal Knight was
essentially an add-on to the SS package. In 1979 GM made 9213 SS El
Caminos, and of that 2815 were Royal Knights.
This 1979 El Camino happens to be a Black Royal Knight. With
wonderfull paint, decals, and rally wheels this unit shows very
well. The tan interior is in excellent condition. Power steering,
power front disc brakes, and air conditioning will make it a joy to
drive. The 350 V8 runs nicely, mated to a automatic
transmission.
Recently serviced, this 1979 Royal Knight El Camino is ready for
you to take it home. Being a low production vehicle in the right
age range it is a great investment opportunity as the value will
only go up.
