SALE PENDING. WAITING ON FINAL PAYMENT 1969 Corvette Convertible Stingray... 50th anniversary of this classic muscle car. Beautiful 1969 Corvette Stingray Convertible Roadster. This car is a real head-turner. Looking for a Corvette aficionado to enjoy this iconic convertible. This is the best year for the C3. Many design flaws were fixed this year.
The only factory option this car has is the 350cid/350HP high compression (11:1) engine option with a 4 bbl quadrajet L46 engine
Muncie “M22” rock crusher 4-speed manual transmission with 3.70 close-ratio positraction rear-end, 88,370 original miles and an all matching numbers car. Rare, original gunmetal gray interior, good tires, recently replaced shocks, master cylinder and tuneup. I have all my maintenance records. This is an unrestored original car except: exhaust, paint, carpet and maintenance.
Decided to have carburetor rebuilt and tuned (was 17 years since last carb overhaul, so she was due). Starter was sticking so I had a new starter and flywheel put in. While I was there it made sense to put in a brand new clutch (lucky you!!!) Engine was then tuned, timing and carb adjusted. She fires up every time.
All original fiber optics and pneumatics in working order. Never been in accident. Reproduction owner's and specification manuals.
It was painted metallic blue in the early 80's (was Cortez Silver 986). It has some scratches in the paint, some stress cracks and some chrome blemishes. (it is 50 years old after all)
Well-maintained; always garaged, California car. I am the 3rd owner, with all my records and have owned her for the last 20 years. I have only put about 16,000 miles on her. She has been a great car, and never driven in the rain since I have owned her. Some surface rust but nothing structural. Birdcage and frame, etc. in great condition.
Brand new gun metal grey carpet installed 2019. I have about $300 worth of parts. (Door seals, anti-rattle window pads, door switches, oil filter, new SS beauty rings, misc parts)
Hagerty value at $37,950 (good condition). NADA guides low retail $28,735 with an average retail value $56,395. Its worth somewhere in between. This car is the only car I’ve owned that increases in value every year. I will consider all serious offers. This is priced below market value. I just don’t drive her much anymore.
Looking for someone to enjoy this exemplary classic American muscle car as much as I have over the years. Come take look and make me a reasonable offer. Willing to negotiate with the right buyer.
