This includes the Cuda options: High Performance 383 engine, Dual Exhaust, Holley 4 BBL, raised Rallye Hood, with scoops, Rallye Dash, Square Tip Exhaust, Hemi Rocker Panel, 8-3/4 Posi Trac rear end, HD 727 Torqueflight transmission with Slap Stick, in center console and ‘383 Cuda’ badging. Plus the Premium accessories like: A/C, foot petal trim, door trim, leather bucket seats, Overhead Console, 5 speaker premium stereo sound system with Motorola thumbwheel radio, premium lighting package, top fender mount turn signal indicators, and elastomeric front bumper. Recent rebuild and renewal of engine compartment, interior, Front suspension, rear suspension and more.
2,540 Cuda’s where built in 1970 with 383 HP engines and of those built very few had the Premium Interior. This makes for a very rare Cuda.
Overhaul and Renewal Included:
- 383 Engine bored to .020 over with valve reliefs in KB pistons.
- Total machining of the heads with new valves, guides, and hardened valve seats.
- Crank cut .010-.010 under with total balancing.
- New cam and bearings to closely match the factory purple shaft with 2 springs per valve.
- Removed inner spring and ran in the cam properly with a pre oil pump and break in oil.
- New water pump and freeze plugs.
- New high volume oil pump.
- Correct fasteners and accessories on the engine.
- Rebuilt Holley 4160 carb.
- New pie tin with “383 Super Commando”.
- New radiator 3 row core with original tanks and new hose with correct hose clamps.
- Correct factory viscous 7 blade fan with shroud.

- Rebuilt total wire harness under dash, including speaker harness front and back, with factory correct wrap on rear speaker harness for premium 5 speaker stereo system. Premium lighting harness, and dash wiring. Five all new 8 ohm speakers with rebuilt Motorola thumbwheel 10 watt radio, with a 3.5mm jack.
- Rebuilt steering column with correct lock out hardware, and factory suede black paint. New Ignition switch.
