This 1979 Triumph Spitfire 1500 is finished in green over a black
interior and is equipped with a black convertible top and
European-style chrome bumpers. Its 1.5-liter inline-four was
rebuilt in 2012 and is equipped with dual SU carburetors, a
PaceSetter exhaust header, and a Pertronix ignition system. Power
is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual gearbox, and the
seller added 13" Panasport wheels, lowering springs, and KYB
shocks. The previous owner reportedly acquired the convertible from
Gateway Classic Cars in Detroit, Michigan, and the current owner
purchased it approximately two years ago. This Spitfire is now
offered by the seller on behalf of a friend with a service manual,
a tonneau cover, and a clean California title in the owner's name.
