This restored 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 is finished in Fathom
Blue with painted white stripes. This car has less than 50 miles
since its extensive restoration. The interior has been finished in
original Coated Ivory and shows well. Though still marketed as a
396, it is now equipped with a 402ci V8 engine that sends power to
the wheels through a Muncie M22 Rock Crusher 4-speed manual
transmission. This is an example of a cowl-induction variant, which
offered 375hp as opposed to the regular SS 396's 350hp. From The
