Vehicle Description
The engine bay on this 1971 Chevy K10 has been properly prepped to
house an upgraded 6.0-liter V8 iron-block engine from a 2003
Chevrolet truck. Backing the engine is a 4L80 overdrive automatic
transmission with front and rear limited-slip differentials. It
features upgraded fuel rails, tune and 4-wheel disc brakes. This
rust-free truck underwent a two-year, frame-off restoration with
new paint, interior and suspension. A modest 2.5" lift was added
over Ultra 249 Predator II truck wheels wrapped in brand-new Atturo
Blade M/T tires. The body was completely dismantled and taken off
of the frame and painted for a proper restoration. The interior
features new upholstery, carpet, door cards, dash pad and
headliner. The one-piece side windows replace the existing window
and wing windows. Other features include a period-correct-looking
RetroSound radio with Bluetooth and hands-free functionality, while
the dash opening remains unaltered, and speakers live where the
factory gas tank once resided behind the seat. The gauges have been
upgraded with a new set of Dakota Digitals. The fuel is safely
carried between the frame rails and is fed via a trick fuel neck
hidden behind the left rear next to the marker light. All lights
are functional. The spray-on bed liner is clean and uniformly
applied.
